去年11月，河源市红色历史文化研究会和河源市东源县党史办工作人员在东源县上莞镇仙湖村万亩茶园调研考察时，在茶园内的高山上意外发现了多处有关东江纵队第二支队在茶山用石头垒成的战壕或瞭望哨战斗遗址。广州日报对此率先进行了独家报道（详见2021年11月30日A11版《河源万亩茶园发现红色革命遗址》），该消息引起了社会各界的广泛关注，人民网等新闻媒体还专门转载了广州日报的报道。记者近日再次踏访这片红色茶山，发现这片茶山又有新变化。

仙湖红色茶园基地正着手规划打造

眼下正是春茶采摘的最佳时节，有着500多年茶叶种植历史的河源市东源县上莞镇仙湖村红色茶园，如今每天都有5000多名茶农或外地雇请的采茶民工在仙湖万亩茶园里忙碌着，辛勤采摘山上片片鲜嫩的“仙湖茶”。

站在红色茶园内居高远望，远处的东江河畔以及路经东源县蓝口镇咸水塘国共谈判旧址的交通要道，依旧清晰可见。在仙湖茶山的战斗遗址附近的一处制茶厂里，新安放有一尊“红仔”雕像。东源县党史办主任刘志平告诉记者，自从广州日报报道了上莞仙湖茶山发现红色革命遗址的消息后，先后引起了上级党史部门的重视和关注，并开始着手规划打造这片红色茶园基地，计划在当地茶农连片发展仙湖茶叶种植的同时，通过打造仙湖茶红色旅游综合项目，助力乡村振兴，带动农户增收致富。

传承红色基因 为文化振兴增添精神力量

据当地党史记载，东源县上莞镇既是解放战争时期河西游击区的中心，又是九连地委、粤赣边支队、河源县人民政府的成立地和常驻地，身兼“多重身份”的革命老区上莞镇，被誉为九连地区的“小瑞金”，红色基因深深植根于这片厚重的土地上。

据东源县委常委、宣传部部长张松新介绍，东源的红色文化底蕴深厚，其中上莞镇境内的红色革命遗址就有中共九连地委、河源县人民政府旧址、上莞镇革命烈士陵园、河西县委旧址、常美村坣背保卫战遗址、中共九连工委扩大会议旧址等6处，此外，还有去年11月新发现的仙湖茶山红色革命遗址。张松新称，上莞镇的文化振兴离不开红色基因的传承，东源县今后将着力挖掘和保护好这些宝贵的红色文化资源，并将其打造成爱国主义教育基地和廉政文化教育基地，进一步传承红色基因，让革命事业薪火相传，让红色基因成为激发广大群众的内生动力，同时打造好上莞茶叶特色小镇，助力乡村振兴。

据了解，东源县上莞镇有500多年的茶叶种植历史，所产仙湖茶色正味厚，清香甘醇。目前，上莞镇茶叶种植面积近2万亩，每年出产茶叶400吨，茶叶产值达到1.2亿元，占全镇农业生产总值70%以上，“仙湖茶”如今已发展成为上莞镇农业支柱产业。
